UNDERGROUND LEGEND KOOL KEITH SETS UP
“BIKINIS & THONGS” FOR OCT. 13TH RELEASE!!
Undoubtedly one of the most popular underground emcee's in the history of rap, Kool Keith plans to release his next release to the hip hop heads on October 13th. Titled “Bikinis & Thongs”, Keith teams with Denis Deft & Yeti Beats for the album that is bound to feed the hunger of Keith’s fans.
With the single “Executive Suites” blazing the internet and college radio stations, the already abstract emcee is looking to branch out into an area of which he has never been and step even more outside the box.
After releasing nearly 10 albums, the fans still want more. Keith released his first notable solo single, "Earth People," in 1995, under the name Dr. Octagon, followed by the release of Dr. Octagonecologyst the following year. The album's production by Dan the Automator and scratching by DJ Qbert was acclaimed by critics, that led the album to be released nationally by DreamWorks Records. The following year, he released the album First Come, First Served under the name "Dr. Dooom.”
Having toured extensively over the last 5 years, Keith has gained a legendary status for his live shows and his vivid and eccentric presence. Recently bringing back his iconic character “Dr. Dooom”, Keith has cemented his place in rap lore as one of the most creative artists to ever pick up the mic.
The “Bikini’s & Thongs” album will prove to be no different.
