Yung Joc Launches Swagg Team Entertainment with 2 chart-topping acts already GS Boyz and Hotstylz

Atlanta based Grammy nominated artist Jasiel Robinson better known professionally as Yung Joc has officially launched his own imprint Swagg Team Entertainment. Current acts signed to Swagg Team Entertainment include hugely popular acts HotStylz and GS Boyz. Yung Joc is also in the studio working on his highly anticipated 3rd album titled “Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood.”

The First signees on Joc’s Imprint are HotStylz. Taking the Chicago "roasting session" tradition and turning it into a hit song, Hot Stylz broke through in 2008 with the single "Lookin Boy." The track featured members Krazee, Meatball, and Raydio G along with special guest Yung Joc "roasting" their anonymous targets with a quick series of insults that ran from mild ("Dirty white sock on your toe lookin' boy") to completely wild ("Midnight train Gladys Knight lookin' boy"). HotStylz recently added a new member named Hot 2 Def. The group considers themselves entertainers rather than rappers and wants to "break all the barriers and continue to entertain the world with their fun quick and witty style of rapping and entertaining. Hotstylz upcoming second single is titled “Ooh Yeah” and will feature Yung Joc and Slim. “Lookin Boy” has gotten just under 1 million digital downloads.

GS Boyz, (also known as the GS Boys) consist of five Teens from Arlington Texas who has already spawned a remarkable regional and web-based following with their hit single “Stanky Legg.” The song is rapidly spreading across the southeast region and is keeping the nation’s dance floors busy with its eccentric one-legged move. Says Joc, “I walked in the house one day, and my five-year-old daughter and my nephew asked me if I knew how to do the Stanky Leg. It was a dance they learned off of YouTube. But when they pulled up the video, it wasn’t the group doing it; it was this little girl and her dad, and that’s what really caught my eye. I knew it would be a hit. However, please be advised that this act is not a one- hit wonder. The hits to come will leave other labels wondering why they didn't sign them GS Boyz first." “Stanky Legg” has sold 200,000 downloads, according to Nielsen Sound Scan, and rises 60-57 this week on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The accompanying video on YouTube has amassed more than 3.5 million plays! Like Robinson’s first signees Hot Stylz, the GS Boys’ debut will be released in 2009 through Swagg Team’s partnership with Jive Records. The group will also be developed through BMG Label Group’s incubator imprint Battery Records.

Fans all over the world have been eagerly waiting for Yung Joc’s 3rd album “Mr. Robinson’s Neighborhood.” In 2008 Yung Joc was featured in 3 of the top 10 singles including “Get Like Me” by David Banner featuring Chris Brown and Yung Joc, “Lookin’ Boy” by HotStylz featuring Yung Joc and “So Fly” by Slim featuring Yung Joc. The latest single this year to feature Yung Joc is “Beep” by Bobby Valentino which is rapidly rising up the Billboard charts.

In addition to launching a mainstream campaign for GS Boys and planning the release of Hot Stylz next single, Joc is also expanding into other businesses including developing a line of sunglasses called Claudio St. James. Joc, who recently returned from performing in Calibar, Nigeria for their annual Carnival, is also touring overseas including the UK and at various Asia Naval Bases.
