Nestled in an amazing loft space with spectacular views of the Empire State Building, coupled with great conversation, cocktails, and food, Blissful Elegance Events is pleased to add the legendary Philadelphia soul group, Delfonics to their sex, love and relationship panel! The Delfonics, whose songs can be found sampled throughout countless Hip-Hop songs to date, are responsible for some of the most ingenious, melodic songs of the 1960’s and 1970’s such as "La-La (Means I Love You)", "Didn't I
(Blow Your Mind This Time)", and "Ready or Not Here I Come (Can't Hide from Love). Who better to discuss love than some of the men who wrote, arranged and sung about the topic?
Along with the Delfonics, social director at BlackPlanet.com and The Industry Cosign co-founder and owner, Cedric "Big Ced" Thornton, who has added his writing expertise to highly acclaimed Hip-Hop media outlets such as The Source, AllHipHop.com and DaveyD.com, will deliver his widely respected “tell it like it is,” persona to the panel. Hosted by Harlem's own pastry chef, Danielle Moore of Annie Mae's Cheesecakes & Moore this first co-ed Meeting in the Ladies Room: Let's Talk About Sex, Love and Relationships event will take place on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 7 PM at Avents Loft, 15 W 28th Street, Suite 10B, New York, NY.
And while guests mentally satisfying their love, sex and relationship appetites, Annie Mae's Cheesecakes & Moore will serve up their infamous cheesecake shots. Guests will also be able to enjoy signature cocktail drinks and for those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, Izze Sparkling Juice will be on hand with several drink variations.
For those who want to take what they learned to go, Pearls of Black will have all their personal pleasure items on sale for purchase. Catering will be provided by Dining with Grace. Product sponsor, La Bella Jouet, will also have an array of sensual goodies for sale and will raffle off adult prize packs during the panel.
