Award-winning educator, Baruti K. Kafele - affectionately known as "Principal Kafele," is currently the principal of Newark Tech H.S. in Newark, NJ, which has been recognized by U.S. News and World Reports Magazine as one of America's best high schools for the past two years. He is also the author of the best-selling books, A Black Parent's Handbook to Educating Your Children (Outside of the Classroom) and A Handbook for Teachers of African American Children.
